➢ Utilize assessment results to determine appropriate treatment plan goals
➢ Develop lesson plan goals and teaching plans to match treatment plan goals
➢ Write goals that are observable, measurable, and specific

Main Elements of an ABA Program:
1. Conduct Intake (Review all relevant information)
2. Conduct Assessment (multiple methods)
• Preference Assessment
• Behavior Assessment
• Skills Assessment
3. Analyze Results
4. Develop Initial Program
• Prioritize: Identify Primary Deficits (Always start with foundational skills)
• Create Lesson Plans
5. Implement Lesson Plans (parents / behavior technicians (RBTs))
• Collect Data
6. Review Activity and Results (with supervisor)
• Adjust Program if necessary
• Create Additional Lesson Plans
7. Generalize and Maintain Acquired Skills
