According to the National Survey of Children’s Health, approximately 65% to 75% of children and youths aged 4 to 17 with ADHD receive medication treatment. With over 6.4 million kids diagnosed with ADHD, that means there are over 4 MILLION kids with ADHD on medication!
Given the high rate of comorbidity between Autism and ADHD, it’s likely that many parents and professionals have asked this question — “What can I do to help my student, client or child with ADD and/or ADHD achieve independence?”
